A5. Introduction
Conclusions of the experimental programme in HYPER and the resulting recommendations for the installation permitting guidelines.
Introduction
This document represents the summary of Deliverables D5.1 – D5.6, produced within Work Package (WP) 5 of the FP6 specific targeted research project HYPER:
| Deliverable | Title |
| D5.1 | Experimental Strategy Document |
| D5.2 | High Pressure and catastrophic release scenarios |
| D5.3 | Report on control and consequences of small foreseeable release scenarios |
| D5.4 | Report on Safety Barrier hydrogen release interaction |
| D5.5 | Report on Hydrogen Sensor Systems |
WP5, entitled’ Hazard Evaluation – Experimental’, was primarily concerned with experimental studies performed within HYPER and was closely linked to the modelling and simulation activities in WP4 ‘Risk Evaluation – Modelling’. The main goal of the experimental and modelling activities was to generate data in the field of hydrogen safety required for knowledge gap elimination, and, where possible, use this data as a basis to support the recommendations in the installation-permitting guidelines.
