3.0 Introduction

Guidance given in this chapter is of a general nature and is taken from relevant European Community directives. If it is necessary to certify part or all of a fuel cell system using these directives, the full documents should be obtained to assess conformity, unless using a third party for certification. The process of CE certification is briefly described in section 3.1.1.
